our story

Our story is pretty similar to others. It starts during lockdown in 2020.

Whilst we all paused, we had time and we had space.

On a global level we were connected more than ever, and our focus as a global community was our health.

For us, in our own little world, we were already on the mushroom path, as a supplement for improved health, specifically cordyceps for lung support and Reishi for a little calmness amongst all the chaos.

So it seemed quite natural at this point to dive deeper into the magical world of mushrooms and the amazing super powers offered to improve health.

Whilst we started to get a good gut feeling about what we were onto, a seed was also being firmly planted in our minds.

Healing & good health

Chats with like minded friends over coffees (not mushroom though, not yet) and we started sharing an idea.

We were putting it out to our kind of people, already seekers of alternative methods for healing and maintaining good health. 

One friend a keen mushroom coffee drinker and fellow yogi, another, a local mushroom grower. 

The universe was pulling the right people in our direction.

Down a rabbit hole

That gut feeling continued to grow and around 2022 a slow dive started into researching, lots of reading and understanding, firstly mushrooms, then onto adaptogens and nootropics. 

Talk about a rabbit hole.

From different varieties of mushrooms, each offering different benefits, grown in different environments and endless info. 

We immediately understood the big difference between your functional types and psychoactive types (trippy!). Ours are the first lot, which are legal and safe to consume!

Then onto different plant extracts, pretty potent too, also offering benefits to our mind (nootropic) and body (adaptogen).

The common thread here being nature, leading the way, with all its glorious offerings. 

Brainstorm

A plan started to take shape. Firstly, a little market research, what’s available locally and globally in functional mushroom beverages.

The first and probably most important questions we asked ourselves: How can we create a brand that will incorporate everything that we believe in and value? How can we differentiate in our mission to create unique tasty beverages that support people in health and life? 

After some serious brainstorming, we came up with the keywords that will help define who we are, how we operate and move outwards as a brand.  Basically, what matters to us above all.  Nature, Organic, Community, Health, Positive Impact, Conscious, Quality. That’s pretty much it, laid out. The boxes that need to be ticked to stay true to our vision.

What we are offering are functional mushrooms and plant extracts with health benefits. From familiar names such as Chaga, Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, Ashwagandha to less familiar like Maca and Rhodiola Rosea, to name a few of our ingredients. 

The guarantee is that they compliment each other, to create our power packed beverages, supporting our health through bio active ingredients (the super power part).

Our offering will start with 2 categories, with all beverages in powder form and pre packed, ready for you to make at home or the office.  100% organic extract powder – Versatile in use. Can be stirred into your smoothies, breakfast oats, teas and coffees. 

Our blends – We’re kicking off with, a locally roasted speciality coffee, a raw cacao mylk and a carob mylk. Again 100% organic. 

Our aim, an easier, tastier way to introduce the power of adaptogens and nootropics to your daily routine. 

The benefit, the addition of bio active ingredients to your diet, whilst for those regular coffee drinkers, a route to lowering your caffeine levels, whilst positively impacting your overall health.
